What to Expect..
At Light & Lens, you’re not just booking a photoshoot—you’re investing in a storytelling experience that honours your family’s legacy.
Here's your journey explained:
Step 1: The Booking Process
Once you’ve chosen your session type and date, simply send through a booking enquiry to check availability. We’ll then schedule a consultation call—this is the time to share your story, your vision, and the little details that matter most. It’s also a chance for us to connect, make sure we vibe, and ensure we can bring your vision to life in the most meaningful way.
Step 2: Securing Your Date
To secure your session, a $350 non-refundable retainer is due at booking. You’ll also sign a contract outlining the details of your session. We can also discuss print options to start planning wall art for your home.
Step 3: Preparing for Your Session
Once your booking is confirmed, we send you a personalized questionnaire and a curated wardrobe guide to help you feel confident and prepared. We are available throughout the process to answer questions, offer styling tips, and ensure you feel fully supported. Location is a huge factor on how your photos feel, what feels like you? Choose from: Indoor studio vibes or one of the pilbara's iconic locations.
Step 4: On the Day
Your session is all about capturing the real, unfiltered magic—whether that’s the soft curls of your newborn baby, the giggles of your little ones, or the quiet moments in between. With the photographer's gentle guidance you won't be left hanging and never over-posed. Every image is crafted to reflect your story, your emotions, and your unique bond.
Step 5: After Your Session
Your story deserves more than just a digital file—it’s an experience that continues beyond the photoshoot. We edit your gallery with care, ensuring each image feels beautiful and true to life. When your gallery is ready, you’ll receive a private online link to view and select your favourites, plus options to purchase heirloom albums and fine art products to treasure for years to come.
